CATCH launches BLANK to support D&I causes
In the scope of their Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) objectives
On the 24th of November 2022, CATCH launched BLANK – white space for creativity, an exhibition space inside their own offices, with a private viewing of LIFE 3.0 by artist Miguel Vilaça Carneiro. 10% of all proceeds from sales will be donated to Reshape.
BLANK is dedicated to creative projects with a purpose, located in the heart of Rua do Salitre in Lisbon. 10% of all proceeds from events carried out in this space will be donated to diversity and inclusion projects, selected by CATCH on an annual basis.
Rita Arez Romão, a CATCH founding partner, refers that “This initiative is part of CATCH’s social responsibility strategy, strongly focused on D&I objectives. The launch of Blank, on the eve of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, marks the importance of these causes for our company.”
According to Tania Lamerton Viegas, also a CATCH founding partner, “Helping companies communicate diversity and inclusion is one of CATCH’s latest and most exciting challenges and we therefore value all projects that have the best D&I practices and objectives at heart, to support with Blank initiatives. This initiative also shows that small companies can also be “big” and definitely make a difference in their communities”.
Miguel Vilaça’s illustrations are sketched on an iPad, technology is his medium. The name LIFE 3.0 was chosen by the artist because the illustrations represent day-to-day situations – many of the characters do exist. 3.0 alludes to the web 3.0, which together with IoT, are philosophies
for driving the next stages of digital transformation – the next BIG leap.
